Our program

Developing players. Building community. Growing the game in Emerson.

  • Emerson Youth Basketball teaches the fundamentals of the game while building teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and confidence on the court.

The program is run by a 100 percent volunteer board and coaching staff made up of parents who have children in the program and are invested in the success of our players and community.

We offer basketball opportunities for boys and girls from Pre-K 4 through 8th grade, including recreation leagues and Select travel teams that compete against neighboring towns.

  • Player development is at the core of Emerson Youth Basketball.

Our goal is to help every player improve their skills, understand the game, and build confidence through practice, competition, and teamwork. From our youngest players to our older divisions, we focus on teaching strong basketball fundamentals and helping each player reach their potential.

  • Emerson Youth Basketball is built on community involvement and volunteer support.

Parents, coaches, and volunteers work together to create a fun, safe, and positive environment for every player. As a community program, we are proud to bring families together and grow the game of basketball in Emerson.

“We believe every player deserves the chance to grow, build confidence, and be part of a team that supports one another on and off the court, while feeling proud to represent their community.”
